Readings and discussion in support of Chinese writer Liu Xiaobo who was sentenced to 11 years in prison on Christmas Day for incitement to subversion after calling for political reform and respect for human rights in China.

We will also be supporting Mexican writer Lydia Cacho, who lives under a death threat.

On display will be the Empty Chair designed and executed by pupils of Lomond School under the guidance of Drew Campbell, a surefire centre of attention!
